We all want our lives to count for something. Some chase fame and influence, others status or power, and some lead quiet, contented lives, caring for the people around them. If we are to live in light of the resurrection, which of these, if any, best reflects the kingdom of God?
In part two of “What’s Next,” we will talk about reformation; changing the what and why of our actions. When the first disciples began to follow Jesus’ ways and allowed their will to be reformed by the Spirit of God, not only were their lives reformed, but the ongoing impact is why we exist as a church today! So what reforms do we need to make, having confronted our timing, expectations, and focus, that will continue to have this impact on people today and for centuries into the future?
