“How long, O Lord?” is a question we encounter throughout Scripture. King David asked it. The prophet Habakkuk asked it. And in the vision given to the Apostle John in Revelation, the martyrs hidden beneath the altar cried out, “How long, O Lord?”

It is a question many of us continue to ask today as we witness war, disease, suffering, and ongoing hostilities among family, friends, and neighbours. How long until you make things right…Will things ever be right?

As we conclude our Kingdom of Heaven series, we will explore how Jesus responds to the question, “How long?” More importantly, we will discover the immense hope found within His answer.

Child Dedications - October 11th

Minnie turned 99 this week!

• Minnie N. who has been a long-time faithful member of GoodTree Church turned 99 on Tuesday, September 8th. Aunt to Brenda, Minnie continues to live an active life in a wonderful seniors home community.

  We give praise to God for her full life and ask for continued prayers and blessings as she enjoys her very senior years.

This past week was spent behind the scenes focusing on upcoming events, administrative details, and meetings. A great deal of work is happening as we continue blending our communities through the merger. We are so grateful for our leadership team as they diligently navigate paperwork, procedures, and planning. God is good, and we are making steady progress!

Be sure to mark your calendars for our upcoming meeting on October 4th. It will be a wonderful time to gather and hear how God has been moving and what He is actively doing here at GoodTree Church.
