Based on Matthew 13:1–23

Why do some believe in Jesus while others do not? Why do some believe for a while, only to disbelieve later on, while others reject Jesus for years and then come to faith? It would be disingenuous to say “we have all the answers” or “God is too mysterious to understand,” but Jesus’ parable teaching on the Kingdom of Heaven helps shed light on our everyday experiences of believe and disbelief. As we continue the Kingdom of Heaven series, we will examine the role sowing and soil have in seeing, hearing, and believing in God.
